Six thousand lives touched. Five hundred churches engaged. Hundreds of souls saved. Countless prayers answered.
On March 24-25, 2023, at Leading The Way’s first, official, city-wide Evangelistic Celebration, roughly 6,000 people from all walks of life converged at the Macon Coliseum to hear Dr. Michael Youssef proclaim the eternal hope found in Christ Jesus alone.
On the first night — an evening for youth — Dr. Youssef shared his own personal testimony of teenage rebellion and restoration, emphasizing God’s extravagant forgiveness through the story of the Prodigal Son. On the second and final night, Dr. Youssef challenged false cultural Christianity, declaring, “Salvation is a personal experience! You cannot inherit, buy, or earn it.”
In total, following Dr. Youssef’s invitation, hundreds of people from all ages and backgrounds boldly came forward to surrender their lives to Christ. Their ages spanned from 5 to 80 — and half were 25 and younger.

CONTINUING THE WORK OF DISCIPLESHIP
In the days following Hope for the Heart of Georgia, through a strategic step-by-step process, the Leading The Way team has been working with local churches on the ground to connect at least 90% of these new believers with local churches. Thanks to your support and the intentional training many churches have received from Leading The Way, local churches are equipped to receive the harvest.
Will you join us in prayer for these new believers as they begin to walk out their faith — and for local churches as they begin the journey of discipleship
“I am so excited to be a part of seeing souls saved.”
“This is what we need in this city. We are here to win souls for Him!”
