For this reason, in the coming year he will relaunch Leading The Way LIVE, his series of evangelistic events and one of seven Vision 2025 initiatives to see one million souls come to Christ.
We are excited to see how God will move through future Leading The Way LIVE events, both in person and online.
Mac Powell, former lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning Christian rock band Third Day, will be joining Dr. Youssef on the road for Leading The Way LIVE. He also joins Dr. Youssef weekly for Leading The Way LIVE at Apostles, church services livestreaming directly from Atlanta, Sundays at 10:30 AM (ET) at LTW.org/LIVE. This is a new outreach that was launched as the pandemic left many churches shuttered and people isolated in their homes. In a recent podcast episode of Candid Conversations with Jonathan Youssef, Mac shared his heart for leading others in worship:
"The focus of a worship song has to be God. I think there can be elements of singing about our brokenness and failures, or even referencing the goodness that comes from serving God, but ultimately it has to come back to Him. . . . It's an honor to be able to sing to Jesus and share about Him. And then to be able to share Him with other people—and see the effect the music has on people's lives—is very humbling. Worship is so much more than music, but I am so grateful to have the opportunity to use music to worship Christ."
We are excited to see how God will move through future Leading The Way LIVE events, both in person and online—drawing lost souls to Jesus and encouraging fellow believers in their faith. Together, we will see Him bring revival to our nation as we press on to proclaim the Gospel through every available means.
