Save for Later

In Jacob: Portrait of Grace, Dr. Michael Youssef reveals the overwhelming power of God’s grace in the life of a flawed man whom God chose for His covenant purpose. Through Jacob’s failures in family, marriage, fear, deception, prosperity, surrender, reconciliation, and purity, this eight-part series declares that God’s inerrant Word never fails and His promises always stand. Jacob’s life points us to the Lord Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah and only Savior, whose grace forgives sin, breaks pride, restores broken lives, and calls believers to repentance, obedience, intercession, and faithful service for the Kingdom of God.

Jacob: Portrait of Grace (Part 3)

Grace in the Wilderness

In Grace in the Wilderness, Dr. Michael Youssef shows that God often meets His children in the place of brokenness. Jacob was alone, guilty, and running from the damage of his own sin, yet God did not crush him. Instead, He revealed the stairway to Heaven, pointing to Jesus Christ, the only way to the Father. This message calls believers to repent of self-rule, rejoice when God gets their attention, respond with obedience and giving, and remember His past mercy. In Jacob’s wilderness, we see the overwhelming grace of God that humbles sinners, restores the broken, and strengthens His people to intercede and trust His unchanging Word.
