Save for Later

In this 3-part series, Dr. Michael Youssef proclaims that the cross was God’s plan from the beginning, is the only payment for sin, and will always be the believer’s eternal hope. From the first animal sacrifice in Genesis to the final marriage supper of the Lamb, Scripture reveals one unchanging Truth: sin is costly, God is holy, and only the shed blood of Jesus Christ can save. Dr. Youssef shows how the Old Testament sacrifices pointed to the Lamb of God, how Christ accomplished atonement, redemption, justification, and reconciliation on Calvary, and how the Lord’s Supper calls believers to remember His sacrifice with repentant hearts. This series calls the Church to cling to the cross, reject pride and compromise, intercede for the lost, and proclaim that forgiveness and eternal life are found in Christ alone.

The Cross: It Was…It Is…It Will Always Be (Part 1)

The Lamb God Provided

In Part 1, Dr. Michael Youssef warns that when sin is minimized, the cross is soon rejected. From Genesis onward, the infallible Word of God shows that sin demands judgment and that forgiveness requires the shedding of innocent blood. The animal sacrifices of the Old Testament were never meant to remove sin forever; they pointed to Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who alone can take away sin. Dr. Youssef calls believers to repent of treating sin lightly, cling to the cross, teach the next generation its meaning, and intercede for a church that must never lose the only message that saves.
