Save for Later

Why do the Ten Commandments still matter in an age that claims to have moved beyond them? In this powerful series, Dr. Michael Youssef proclaims that God’s Law is not a relic of the past but a living revelation of His holy character. From idolatry and dishonoring God’s Name to anger, adultery, stealing, lying, and covetousness, each commandment exposes the sin that resides in the human heart. Yet the Law also points us to our only hope—Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, who fulfilled the Law and offers forgiveness to all who repent and believe. Through Biblical teaching and urgent application, this series calls believers to renewed obedience, deeper holiness, and bold witness in a culture that rejects God’s Truth.

The Ten Commandments (Part 2)

Crowding God Out

In this sobering message, Dr. Michael Youssef confronts the subtle danger of idolatry in the believer’s life. The first commandment—“You shall have no other gods before Me”—reveals that anything replacing Christ at the center of our lives becomes an idol. Through the life of Solomon, Scripture warns how even great blessings can slowly crowd God out. Solomon began with a heart that sought God’s wisdom and glory, yet drifted into devotion to wealth, power, and pleasure. The unchanging Word of God exposes this deception and calls believers to repentance. Only Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, deserves the throne of our hearts. Believers must examine their desires, return to their first love, and intercede that God’s people remain faithful to His Truth.
