Dr. Youssef Announces Extraordinary New Season of Ministry

This year marks a historic and deeply meaningful moment for Leading The Way. After nearly four decades of faithfully shepherding The Church of The Apostles in Atlanta—from its very first gathering of 28 people in 1987 to a thriving congregation of more than 3,000 today—Dr. Michael A. Youssef has announced that he is now devoting his full time and energy to Leading The Way and transitioning to a new role as Founding Rector Emeritus at the church.

As the Lord raises up his son Jonathan to lead the local church into its next stage of growth, Dr. Youssef says he is “putting his foot on the accelerator”—advancing every area of ministry to take the Gospel to all nations while the doors are still open.

NORTH AMERICA: SEIZING EVERY MOMENT TO WAKE UP THE CHURCH

With a vision to mobilize for a Third Great Spiritual Awakening in America, Dr. Youssef is pressing ahead with AWAKE America Rallies across multiple cities in 2026. At the first revival gatherings in Boston and Washington, D.C., prayer groups overflowed into hallways, spontaneous worship broke out, and the response to Dr. Youssef’s invitation packed the altar.

In addition to in-person rallies, Leading The Way is rapidly expanding its digital outreach, making Dr. Youssef’s trusted teaching available to new audiences. Innovative tools like MY Faith Assistant, our FREE, Bible-based discipleship tool, have already brought Biblical clarity to more than 50,000 people. Dr. Youssef’s upcoming book Unholy Alliance will also be a wake-up call to the Church, sounding the alarm on the urgent and growing threat of radical Islam.

THE MIDDLE EAST: ADVANCING THE GOSPEL WHERE FEW DARE TO GO

In one of the most spiritually hungry yet least-reached regions on earth, God is propelling Leading The Way forward, expanding our Middle East ministry to meet growing spiritual needs. Preparations are already underway for Evangelistic Celebrations with Dr. Youssef in Iraq and other Middle Eastern nations, bringing the hope of the Gospel into the heart of the Arab world.

Our multilingual media outreach—from the 24/7 broadcasts of our KINGDOM SAT channel to dual-language programs in dozens of languages— will continue delivering God’s Word to those who have never had access to it. A remarkable new door has also opened to expand our underground Navigator distribution network, placing discreet, solar-powered Bible devices into the hands of those seeking Truth in highly restricted areas.

REMOTE VILLAGES: REACHING THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD

Our faithful God is providing new and exciting opportunities to reach every tribe, tongue, and nation as we prepare to send even more Navigators abroad than ever before. With recent shipments of solar-powered Navigator audio devices to Botswana, Lebanon, Liberia, and Honduras, Leading The Way is overcoming every obstacle to the Gospel to place the hope of Jesus in the hands of those who have never heard—and to bring Dr. Youssef’s trusted messages to areas in desperate need of solid teaching.
